Legislative Posters

The Department of Labour expects to see the summaries of certain legislative acts displayed for your company to be compliant

A summary of legislative posters needs to be displayed where all employees of the company can see them, for example on your notice board, in the boardroom or cafeteria. Your employees should be able to read them and be 100% sure that the acts are being practiced every day within the workplace

At HR & Skills Market we aim for all companies to be legally compliant so that the inspectors find no faults relating to these simple charts

The five compulsory legislative posters are:

  • Summary of the Employment Equity Act (No 55 of 1998)
  • Summary of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (No 75 of 1997)
  • Summary of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (No 85 of 1993)
  • Summary of the Skills Development Act (No 97 of 1998)
  • Summary of the Unemployment Insurance Fund Act (No 63 of 2001)

HR & Skills Market is able to provide you with a complete set of legislative posters.

Occupational Health and Safety Act (No 181 of 1993) - requires all businesses with 5 or more employees to implement a health and safety structure to sustain employee well-being and create a healthy and safe working environment.
